I show good citizenship every day. I show good citizenship by teaching special needs kids to play soccer every weekend. I volunteered at a soup kitchen and cleaned up the toy room for children they have there. I helped put my neighbor by taking care of his dog when they were on vacation. When I went on vacation to Hiltenhead I cleaned up the beach. At school I helped take the lunch bins down and I entertained the elderly people at the Abington with the rest of fourth grade. Those were a couple examples of what I have done to show citizenship.

To show good citizenship I could volunteer at a soup kitchen again. I could take down the lunch ins more often. I could clean up the lakes and beaches more often. I could
also take care of more dogs and babysit. Those were some examples of what I could do more to show good citizenship.

Have you ever seen Martin Luther King Jr's birth home? Well now you can! In Atlanta, Georgia you can see it. It is important because Martin Luther King Jr. was the person that stopped segregation. He had an "I Have A Dream" speech. At first it was just a speech and then he put. down the words he wrote and said "I Have A Dream" that African Americans children will play with white children, drink out of the same water fountain, and he wanted African Americans to be treated fairly. With that speech people were encouraged to make that happen so they did the rest of the boycotts and marches that Martin Luther King Jr. was planning. I think you should visit it because Martin Luther King Jr. came up with many good ideas to stop segregation. In the end segregation was against the law.

Also about 40% of Americans can trace their family history back to Ellis Island. Ellis Island is located in New York close to The Statue Of Liberty. My favorite memory of 2012 was when I was at soccer practice. I found a dead snake on the ground! I showed my team and they all freaked out. Then my coach told me to throw it because it was grossing him out.
